The 86 foot (26.2 m) dry dock is fully covered and heated, providing excellent conditions to carry out a wide range of services.
Tooley’s Boatyard, situated in the heart of Banbury on the South Oxford Canal, is one of the oldest working dry docks on the Inland Waterways, having been in continuous use since 1778.
Tooley’s Boatyard Limited provides specialist services for boaters including boat sales boatbuilding and repairs, painting, building blacking, chandlery, training and certification in boat handling etc.
As the commercial arm, Tooley’s Boatyard Limited are proud to continue the tradition of boatbuilding and repair – especially of building wooden boats to help retain skills for the future.

We run RYA courses on inland-waterway boat handling, but if all that sounds too energetic, the narrowboat Dancing Duck is available for either self-drive hire or skippered trips.
